The End of "Dormant Stock"
The traditional model for home decor works like this: a brand manufactures 10,000 vases, stores them, and hopes to sell them. If they're not popular? They're often destroyed. It's an enormous waste.
We only produce what is sold. Not a single piece more. This means that every gram of material (including our recycled Francofil filaments) is put to good use.
Freedom of Choice (Finally!)
On-demand manufacturing changes everything for you: it allows us to offer a level of personalization impossible in traditional retail. Since the item isn't yet manufactured, you have the power to choose:
- The exact color (from our 12 PETG shades).
- The material (Matte Carbon, Translucent, Scallop Shell...).
- The precise model that suits your space.
More than just an impression: A work of craftsmanship
Please note that on-demand manufacturing does not mean "fully automated." Once our high-precision printers have finished their work, human intervention takes over. This crucial step justifies our 2- to 4-business-day production time.
Here is the journey of your future object:
1. Systematic Inspection
Every part coming off the printer undergoes rigorous quality control. Geometry, surface finish, strength: nothing is left to chance. If a defect is detected, the part is recycled and reprinted.
2. Manual Finishing
3D printing can leave small residues or "strings". Each object is deburred and cleaned by hand to ensure a pleasant feel and perfect aesthetics.
3. Hydrophobic Impregnation (For vases)
This is our technical signature. For our ranges of vases intended for fresh flowers, we do not simply rely on the natural waterproofing of plastic.
Meaningful Waiting
Receiving a Decofab3D package means knowing that no one else has touched your item before you. It has just come from the workshop, inspected, treated, and carefully packaged.
